Sweet Spud’s apparel is made of super soft, certified U.S. organic cotton and sustainably manufactured in the U.S.A. Our “spuds” are toxin free and processed in an eco-friendly fashion; without any harmful chemicals or toxic dyes. From soil to shelf, our products are true to the Earth.

Spud fabric and manufacturing: All of Sweet Spud’s cotton is certified organic and grown in America’s heartland by members of the
Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative. Their cotton is spun, woven and manufactured in the U.S.A., completely sweatshop free.
Spud screen printing: Designs are locally printed in an environmentally friendly way with water-based, phthalate-free inks. Not only is the print soft on the environment, but it is also soft to the touch. Conventional screen printing methods involve the use of plastisol inks which have been described as one of the most environmentally damaging plastics. In 2008, hundreds of parents reported chemical-like burns on their baby's backs. These burns were caused by tagless labels printed with PVC and plastisol inks. That’s a no-no for us!
Spud packaging: Sweet Spud’s goods come delivered in a 100% recycled/recyclable box and wrapped in tissue paper that is made of 100% recycled fibers; both are made in the U.S.A. Our items are shipped without any excess packaging, but still look so incredibly sweet!
